Dear Miss Deaf Minnesota Pageants, DEAF-MADC

Being Miss Deaf Minnsota for the past year has been a wonderful experience for me- one that I would never ask to replace. It has been a unique and rich experience.

In the past few weeks, I had a personal and family situation come up. This situation has a long term impact and I do not feel I am able to continue tomanage the responsibilities of Miss Deaf Minnesota and attend to my responsibilities elsewhere. It was a very difficult decision that I took a long time to reach, but I need to resign as Miss Deaf Minnesota to focus on my personal situation.

Thank you for your support for the past year and thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
